I am a PhD student at the Department of Computer Science of the University of Toronto, working in the Software Engineering Group with professor Marsha Chechik.
I got my undergrad diploma from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens, Greece. In 2010, I got my MSc in the Department of Computer Science of the University of Toronto.
As an (aspiring) academic, I am mostly interested in things that have to do with:
- Model-driven engineering
- Computer-aided software engineering
- Domain-specific modeling and languages
- Model manipulation
- Automotive Software Engineering
- Compilers and programming language technology
- Management information systems
I also firmly believe that, engineers (and more so computer engineers) should be actively engaged in any ongoing discourse regarding the ways technology impacts and transforms society, especially in our modern “science fiction” world.
